This has become one of my favorite knives and that's with me owning over 50 pocket knives! Ranging from $30+ to upwards of $700. It's easily in my top 5 and that's with it lacking a lot of things I look for when it comes to "having it all." From lacking contoured scales, a hollow grind, my favorite blade steels (m390) is a the bottom of my "premium" steels category, size (I prefer my blades with a cutting edges between 3" to 3½"), or the bonus of having a crowned spine. The material of the handle is not the biggest deal for me so long as it's not g10 or "lower grade" material. With all that being said I still find myself gravitating to this knife because of its build quality and the stout feeling of the knife. It literally feels like a tank similar to the feel of a sebenza except with smooth drop shot action (hydraulic type action) and that's right out of the box. This feels like it should cost $100 more than what I paid for it if I'm being honest. One of those you have to handle to truly appreciate it. Kubey should really consider on making a v2 of this knife through their KB line and upgrading it with all or at least half of the things I listed that I look for in a perfect knife. If they would I would buy multiple because it would only mean it make it that much better. Awesome release kubey, please do what you have to do to give us v2! I'm sure it would be a win for both the knife community and for y'all selves because I don't believe y'all will have a hard time selling them.
P.S. get rid of the blade branding please. Leave the branding to the pivots. Everyone knows who y'all are you don't have to advertise it on the blades and diminishing the aesthetics of the knife. 💗
