This knife is a fidgeting beast! Great Ergos, and great action!

I have heard good things about kubey knives and I found this one on sale. The Good : Nice large knife, easy reverse flip open for me. Very sharp out of the box. The Not so Good : Several Small voids in the black blade finish with bare blade visible as well as a few scratches. Conclusion : This knife feels great in my XL hand and I bought it for daily use, and for the price I paid I am more than fine with it. In this price range you are going to run into the occasional fit and finish issue. I liked it so much I purchased the Kubey Vagrant in Ultem which arrived today in perfect condition. I highly recommend this knife.

What great action

The knife was very sharp, and the G10 scales were pleasant in there is no way this knife could slip. The action is a bit sluggish, which may be due to “not broken in yet”. The attention to build was excellent, especially given I purchased this knife on a deep sale. The appearance is a contrasting black blade on the jade scales…. Which I like. Im hoping the D2 steel will retain its edge, which was my main reason for purchasing this knife. Only tome will tell.
